Lovely but a little tight around the ribcage.

I purchased two bralette's in Small so I thought I would try the regular bras. The clasp doesn't sit perfectly straight but its so small I don't really notice it and the cups don't cut me off which is really nice but the band around the ribcage is a bit tight. I bought another bra without wires and it is the same. Not super tight but still tight. That said, I will likely keep them because I am hopeful it's a little holiday weight that is the culprit. For reference I am petite, 34B, 115lbs (carrying around 5-7lbs more than usual).

Love!

I absolutely love this bra! It is so comfortable and the front close is wonderful! The lace detail in the back is beautiful.

Fits smaller than all the other styles I tried, from lively:-/

I tried this on after too long, & it fits a good bit smaller in the band, than others from lively.com. It is tight in the band,& the gold clip in the center, swivels to the side, immediately. Which will not last long, before damaging the material in the center. I have tried on 6-8 styles , total,& kept 5 total. All are in 34DDD, as 36DDD was too big all over. The other two 34DDD’s I bought, are fantastic. But this style, (or this one lone bra?) fits like a 34D or 32DD. Disappointed.

Not my favorite style

Not loving these bras specifically as the front closure hooks do not stay straight they get crooked and slant to one side makes the fit a little uncomfortable and bothersome as always trying to straighten the hook.

LOVE THE DETAILS!

I will update this post once I wear the bra for a long period of time. I wore this bra all day in the wrong size and the underwire was digging into my skin. Very uncomfortable! I recently purchased the correct size and it was comfortable, easy to put on with the front clasp and loved the back lace accent! Stay tuned!

Bra Sizing Guide

Not sure about your bra size? Don’t sweat it! Measuring yourself at home is simple, but if you need a little extra help, you can meet with one of our fit experts face to face by scheduling a Virtual Styling Session or Fit Appointment at one of our stores!

Before we start you will need a few things:

  • A soft measuring tape
  • A mirror
  • Your best fitting, least padded bra

STEP 1

Stand in front of a mirror wearing your best fitting, least padded bra and use a soft measuring tape to measure your band size:

  • Wrap the measuring tape around your back just below your shoulder blades and just under your bust.
  • Make sure that the measuring tape is parallel to the floor. Pull the tape measure tight against your ribcage and take note of that measurement.
  • If your measurement is an odd number, add 1, if it's an even number, add 2
    • Ex: 35 inches rounds up to 36
    • Ex: 32 inches rounds up to 34

STEP 2

Next, measure your bust:

  • Slide your measuring tape up your back, across your shoulder blades and across the fullest part of your bust.
  • Make sure that the measuring tape is still parallel to the floor and hold the tape as loosely as possible and take note of that measurement.

STEP 3

Now we do some math!

  • Your band measurement is what you measured + 1 (odd measurements) or 2 (even measurements)
  • For every inch difference between your band size and your bust size you will increase your cup size.
    • Ex: 34 inch band and a 39 inch bust (5 inch difference)  will be a 34DD
    • Ex: 31 inch band measurement will round up to a 32 and a 35 inch bust (3 inch difference) will get you to size 32C.
