Sizing off

Purchase experience simple and quick. Shipping is reasonable. Material is good, structure is good. The cup sizing is off. It almost feels like it’s a vanity sizing. I am a DD regardless of brand name, except with Lively. The DD cup on all bras I’ve purchased from Lively are too small. I recommend ordering up a cup size or two or spend your money elsewhere.

Great for work

I've got a very small bust (34a/32b) so I've been wearing mostly thin bralettes for a while but when I need something to hide my nipples better, this is the bra for me! I love that you can adjust the bra straps in front without taking it off. So comfortable in terms of fit and fabrics!

Comfortable bra

As far as underwire bras go, I found this one to be very comfortable. The band is soft, and I do really like that the straps are adjustable in the front. However, as far as "t-shirt" bras go, I cannot really wear this under a t-shirt. You can clearly see the upper edge of the right cup under a shirt. Now that I look at it, it may be that the bra I received just came with a flaw. The edge of the left cup doesn't roll upward the way the right cup does. Overall, though, it's one of my more comfortable bras to wear. I'd just stick to wearing it with sweaters or thicker fabrics.

I wanted to love it but it wasn't meant to be

I wore this bra in the house for two days trying to decide whether or not it was *the* one. I loved the color (warm oak), I loved the material and I especially loved the j-hook that turned it into a racerback. I wasn't crazy about being poked in the armpit but I thought it was the tags. After I cut out the tags, rendering it non-returnable, I found out that it was the underwire. :-( As long as I am fairly immobile, the bra's great but once I start moving and bending, I can feel the underwire cutting into my side.

Wanted to love this but poor design/support for a DDD cup

I love all the “nude” options and got one just right for my skin tone! The material feels nice against the skin too. Sadly this is where the joy ends. According to the description, straps are supposed to be wider for sizes 36C & up. Not true! I ordered a 36DDD and the straps look the same as shown in the image for a size 34B. Also the lace is a nice touch but that part of the strap feels a little flimsy. I’ve already head a seam stitch or two pop as I was adjusting them. Hugely disappointing. The band material feels wayyyy to stretchy to be supportive enough me. The cups don’t provide quite enough coverage me, particularly on the sides, and because of this, the underwire ends at a weird spot and I can feel it poking a bit after only wearing it twice. Sadly the full coverage tshirt bra starts at a 38DDD so that’s not an option. Sigh... the search continues...

Bra Sizing Guide

Don’t sweat it love, this will be a piece a of cake.

Okay — breathe in, then out, and hold. Wrap a tape measure around your chest at band level and take a look.
Odd number? Add 1. Even number? Add 2.
For example — if you measured 33” and add 1, you get 34”. This is your band size!

Breathe in again, then out, and hold.
1. Wrap a tape measure around the fullest part of your bust and take note.
2. Round to the nearest whole number. This is your bust size!
3. Subtract your band size from your bust size and voila! This determines your cup size.
For example — if your bust measured to 36, you would subtract 34 from 36 to get 2!

Cup Size

Put your band size and cup size together and now you have your bra size!
Our example comes out to be a 34B.
