I really liked the fit and feel of this bra.....until I put a shirt over it. The material feels good and the padding is nice. The extra bit of material on the band helps smooth out the back. But, once I put a shirt on it looked as though I had one long uniboob. I think I need the underwire to define the shape of my breasts because the fat on my side kind of meshes together with the rest of my boobs. Sad to say I’ll be sending this back.
This is my second Lively bra and I really like the fit of this one. It is very comfortable and I like the wide band. It doesn't roll or bunch throughout the day. I am concerned about the straps stretching out over time because I already have them pulled pretty close to their tightest adjustment so there's not much room to tighten more if they loosen over time. The biggest downside to this bra is the seams that run right up the center of the bust. Lively does this with a lot of their bras (I only wear no-wire bras and almost all of the options that fit me well have this seam) and it's rather frustrating. It doesn't make for a clean aesthetic under some of my nicer work blouses and tighter-fitting tees. I hope they will consider not having this element in their designs in the future. I would like to order another one of these to rotate between because I love the fit but I will probably only use this one until I find a better option that is smooth across the entire cup.
Love lively and all their products!
I feel this bralette fits correctly for its size. (Several others I own have very tight bands.) The padding is lackluster, but is easily removed. This will be my new go-to nude bra to replace my worn out t-shirt underwire bra. The seams on the cups are visible under tighter shirts. If you're looking for a seamless look, I would choose a style... without a seam. It would be great if Lively made a few more bralette styles without the cup seam for versatility's sake. Also, just a note, the Toasted Almond color is decidedly darker than what the screen shows. My screen is calibrated, so I'm not "seeing it incorrectly." I noticed this with the Seamless Deep V Bralette in Toasted Almond also - it's definitely darker than pictured. I'm very pale and this hasn't been a problem. It works fine as a nude bra under white or light colored shirts. Just something to note. :)
When was the last time you tried on a bra and left it on because you wanted to? Well, that was my experience with this bra. I usually have gapping at the top of the cups, but not with this bra. Please make it in black! I am going to reorder several more. Thank you!
