A dream of a bralette

Seriously, Lively, just shut up and take my money. As a small but busty person, bras are my white whale. I hate padding, always get terrible red lines from underwire, and would really rather not wear a bra at all if gravity would allow it. I go through bras like someone on a quest, which, really, I am. I found Lively through instagram and lo and behold, my search is over. I'm serious! I'm a 30DD (size 1 is perfect - I'm still on the loosest hook, which never ever happens), and finding not only a supportive but COMFY bralette with straps thick enough not to dig into my shoulders and a band that doesn't just come in S-M-L (oh my god and it has three whole hook-and-eyes) has made my life a lot less painful. I now have this lacy one in pink, the black and beige regular busty bralettes, and the black all-you busty bralette, and you can be sure I am far from done. Listen, the price point is great, the bras are cute as hell, and if you're tiny with way too much mammary like me, these babies will save your life and your back. Just get the dang bra.

Definitely a win for busty gals!

This is my first time buying anything from Lively. I bought this style & one from the non-busty collection (mistake). I am 5'2", 135lbs, 34DD and the size 1 fits great. I will say though, I am definitely the last size that could fit this bra, I fit well but definitely snug. It is comfy and fitted, straps don't seem to budge nor does the band. The band is snug on the last hook just like a new bra should be. I love the little piece of elastic just above the band in-between boobs, that thing is so necessary to make this bra great. My boobs look fabulous, perky & round. Big fan, big big fan for the busty gals squad.

Best bralette for busty girls

I am so glad I gave Lively a second chance. I had purchased a couple bralettes back in early 2019 and found the fabric to not be stretchy nor provide enough support (bands were thin, poor coverage, and had only 2 hooks). When I saw this geometric bralette with a wide band and 3 hook closure, I had to give it a shot and I absolutely love it! The fabric stretches enough to provide nice coverage and I am not afraid of spilling out everywhere. For reference, I am a 34DDD and I ordered a size 2. This bra has better coverage than the striped bralette as well, just a heads up.

Great bralette!

Super comfy and supportive. The fabric is very soft. I really like the thicker band.

Ridiculously comfy & cute! Pleasantly surprised!

I love this bralette and almost cried when I tried it on for the first -- I wish I was kidding. It has been so hard to find a bralette that doesn't hurt, let alone is actually comfortable, and I'm so happy that I bit the bullet and ordered this bra. I don't really trust bra sizing from places like VS so I measured myself using the UK sizing chart and measured to a 32FF. Apparently, the "US" conversion (there's no real standard US size available) was 32DDD so I got the Size 1 of these bralettes and they are PERFECT. I cannot stop raving about these bralettes, to the point where I'll just rave about it while I'm at home to anyone who is willing to listen. love love love and highly recommend to my fellow busty folx!

Bra Sizing Guide

Don’t sweat it love, this will be a piece a of cake.

BAND SIZE

Okay — breathe in, then out, and hold. Wrap a tape measure around your chest at band level and take a look.
Odd number? Add 1. Even number? Add 2.
For example — if you measured 33” and add 1, you get 34”. This is your band size!

CUP SIZE

Breathe in again, then out, and hold.
1. Wrap a tape measure around the fullest part of your bust and take note.
2. Round to the nearest whole number. This is your bust size!
3. Subtract your band size from your bust size and voila! This determines your cup size.
For example — if your bust measured to 36, you would subtract 34 from 36 to get 2!
