Just got this bra in the mail today and after wearing it around for a couple of hours it is still not comfortable and itchy. The mesh is itchy and the seams and bulky and itchy. Fit is a little odd. The cups seems too large and the band is too tight for the size that I chose. The nursing part has too much material/could be more minimal for easy access. Looks alright under clothes. I would not recommend this bra to anyone.
I wanted to find something comfortable to fit my new growing ladies. I followed the sizing guide and for the most part, the fit is fine (there is a weird sort of bubbling out of the cups on the upper/outside side, but minimal). There is boning in the sides, and it digs into my skin and after about an hour it's so painful I either have to try and put something under the band, or I just can't wear the bra. Such a shame - I think the side boning is not the best choice, but also the seams that stitch it in are along your skin, so it just rubs your ribcage raw. The straps did the same thing along my shoulders, but maybe that will lessen as the fabric softens? Such a bummer, I wanted to love these.
I sized to what I wore pre-baby, and its been a good fit for me! Only issue I have is that when I’m nursing, the front starts creeping up, and it rests against my baby’s mouth, so it’ll get damp if my baby didn’t get a great latch. Other than that, I’m very pleased with it; fits well, and looks great under clothes. Would love to see other colors!
So the size of these bras are truly off by a whole cup. I’m currently measuring at a 32DDD or a 34DD and sometimes a 34DDD depending on the make of the bra, and what’s available. I got the 34DD, because I felt that if it’s a little big I would grow into it when my milk arrived, oh was I wrong. It was huge. I didn’t love the way it fit, but before I said hell no to this bra I decided to try the right size. Ordered the 34D and a 32DD. Decided to keep the 34D, the 32 just fit odd (they both did but the 32 was tighter) I have to say, I don’t love it. I only wear it if my other bras are being laundered. I’m not sure why this bra/company seems to get rave reviews on being so comfortable. These bras are NOT comfortable. Maybe I’m picky, but being rated as the most comfortable bra... I have some expectations. I’m still pregnant and just want to feel like a sexy woman sometimes, But also comfortable, not always in a brallete or sports bra. I recently Purchased two underwire bras from natori, that are a million times more comfortable than this bra. Yep, and it has underwire! I can’t wear them when I breast feed, but until then I get to feel beautiful, and wear low cut tops! Back to these bras... There are seams throughout the bra that are bothersome if you have sensitive skin. There is some sort of Vertical wire on the sides that are super wide for support I guess, they are very uncomfortable and bulky, the also bow out... clearly not doing their job. The little support strips/lining inside the cup for breastfeeding feel larger than they should be, and move around a lot, they are also itchy. There isn’t a smooth feel from band to up the cup, instead the cup folds over the band in a weird way. All in all they should really reconsider this bra. It’s not super soft on the inside, the mesh is a bad idea. Every bra I love are seemless, and uses ultra soft materials on both sides of the bra, not just the out side. This bra reminds me of that super soft sweater you buy, come to find the softness in only on the outside, while the inside is scratchy and it has a boxy fit. Lol. Oh how I wish it was different, I really wanted to love this company.
This bra really is a great idea and made of great material... I'm sad that the fit is so strange. I normally wear a Victoria's Secret size 32D /32DD. I purchased 2 of these bras in a size 32D - the bra was too big :( Sadly, I cut the tag off of one of the bras, so I'm stuck with a bra I can't wear. I liked the concept so much that I purchased this bra in a size 32C --- this bra was too small for me. This may fit other people lovely, but I would recommend sizing down. Sadly this bra did not work for me.
