Superb Bralette

I usually order a Large when it comes to bralettes, I was a 36C but went to a 38B recently, and depending on the company they fit or don't. When I first go this bra it was a little too tight on the band and there were some points on the straps in the back that kind of dug in. But the more I wore it (and I wear it all the time around the house) the better it fit, even for bigger boobs. It is super comfortable and soft, a really nice color. I've washed it and air dried it once and it fits even better. Even slept in it last night, and I never sleep in bras. It is thin, so there's not a whole lot of protection, but it's perfect for around the house. The most comfortable bralette for long term wear I've gotten yet from Lively.

Comfy Weekend Bra

This is comfortable and perfect for bumming around the house on weekends. Not enough nip coverage for daily wear (too thin) but very nice to have for those casual days at home.

SMALL AND COMPRESSING - SIZE UP FOR WIDE CHEST

Measurements: 32-34B | 27 | 38 | 4'11" | 118 lbs I really wanted to love this bralette but it was so freaking SMALL and compressing LITERALLY!! When I seen it in the packaging I knew it would be too small. When I tried it on it was a literal joke, looked horrible on me and I have a small cup size but a wide upper body (athletic build, wide chest, back, torso, and broad shoulders). The problem is that It was so compressed that I was spilling out and I am definitely not big chested. I returned for a size M. Honestly, I don't see anyway either model is fitting into the size S, they are totally different body types and cup sizes. Ladies please read reviews before purchasing and if in-between cup or band size, always size up. Sizing on some LIVELY products are NOT accurate. PROS: Beautiful color, adjustable straps, comfortable fabric, has some stretch, dries quickly. CONS: Not true to size, runs very small.

Very comfy to sleep in

Material is soft overall and I feel like these bras offer support while sleeping without being overly restrictive or uncomfortable.

Best gift ever…

Words told to me after I gifted this bra to a friend who was always complaining about her bras.

Bra Sizing Guide

Not sure about your bra size? Don’t sweat it! Measuring yourself at home is simple, but if you need a little extra help, you can meet with one of our fit experts face to face by scheduling a Virtual Styling Session or Fit Appointment at one of our stores!

Before we start you will need a few things:

  • A soft measuring tape
  • A mirror
  • Your best fitting, least padded bra

STEP 1

Stand in front of a mirror wearing your best fitting, least padded bra and use a soft measuring tape to measure your band size:

  • Wrap the measuring tape around your back just below your shoulder blades and just under your bust.
  • Make sure that the measuring tape is parallel to the floor. Pull the tape measure tight against your ribcage and take note of that measurement.
  • If your measurement is an odd number, add 1, if it's an even number, add 2
    • Ex: 35 inches rounds up to 36
    • Ex: 32 inches rounds up to 34

STEP 2

Next, measure your bust:

  • Slide your measuring tape up your back, across your shoulder blades and across the fullest part of your bust.
  • Make sure that the measuring tape is still parallel to the floor and hold the tape as loosely as possible and take note of that measurement.

STEP 3

Now we do some math!

  • Your band measurement is what you measured + 1 (odd measurements) or 2 (even measurements)
  • For every inch difference between your band size and your bust size you will increase your cup size.
    • Ex: 34 inch band and a 39 inch bust (5 inch difference)  will be a 34DD
    • Ex: 31 inch band measurement will round up to a 32 and a 35 inch bust (3 inch difference) will get you to size 32C.
