So lovely!!

I am 9 months pregnant and these are the first nursing bras I’ve ordered. Wow - I could not be happier! I’ve texted all my mom friends already raving about these. I immediately tried them on and they are so soft and make me feel beautiful. The snaps are very inconspicuous and easy to use. Excited to put these to use when our baby finally arrives!

Comfy Nursing Bras!

These are the only nursing bras I have tried that have actually fit me well. Before pregnancy I was a C cup, now postpartum I am a D. These fluctuations have made it a challenge to find a bras that fit around me and is large enough for my bust. Most bands are loose if I need one big enough to fit my boobs in. But these bras actually offered a great amount of support and held me in nicely! The only thing I don’t enjoy is that they are not padded. I love bralettes though so it doesn’t bother me too much. I have extra pads I can place in them if I need to. The clasps work well, I did see some people make those comments and I’m not sure why. But overall very supportive bras!

Pretty, but no

I love Lively. They’re the only bras I wear now so I was really excited to try out the nursing options. They’re beautiful, which is so nice when you don’t feel beautiful after having a baby, but they just don’t fit quite right. I have to wear a large to fit my breasts but even on the tightest clasp, the fabric bunches up on the sides. I’m not sure what’s going on with that. The clasps are also almost impossible to snap if the straps are let all the way out. You have to leave a little bit of space, which is frustrating. The darts on the front (as many have already pointed out, no pun intended) draw way too much attention to my nipples. I wanted these to be my wear-to-work bras, but I can’t with most of my tops because of the seam. Major bummer. :(

Best nursing bra I’ve owned

Best nursing bra I’ve owned. No more gaping cups. Fits so so so comfortably and no wire!

Recommend if you are smaller in the boob department

They are very well put together and quite comfortable. most of the time. They don’t really take an account of how much your breast changes size throughout the day while breast-feeding. So they fit great when you’re not full of milk. But when you’re full of milk they’re a bit tight and uncomfortable. But the materials used are very nice. I just wish I could wear them more often

Bra Sizing Guide

Not sure about your bra size? Don’t sweat it! Measuring yourself at home is simple, but if you need a little extra help, you can meet with one of our fit experts face to face by scheduling a Virtual Styling Session or Fit Appointment at one of our stores!

Before we start you will need a few things:

  • A soft measuring tape
  • A mirror
  • Your best fitting, least padded bra

STEP 1

Stand in front of a mirror wearing your best fitting, least padded bra and use a soft measuring tape to measure your band size:

  • Wrap the measuring tape around your back just below your shoulder blades and just under your bust.
  • Make sure that the measuring tape is parallel to the floor. Pull the tape measure tight against your ribcage and take note of that measurement.
  • If your measurement is an odd number, add 1, if it's an even number, add 2
    • Ex: 35 inches rounds up to 36
    • Ex: 32 inches rounds up to 34

STEP 2

Next, measure your bust:

  • Slide your measuring tape up your back, across your shoulder blades and across the fullest part of your bust.
  • Make sure that the measuring tape is still parallel to the floor and hold the tape as loosely as possible and take note of that measurement.

STEP 3

Now we do some math!

  • Your band measurement is what you measured + 1 (odd measurements) or 2 (even measurements)
  • For every inch difference between your band size and your bust size you will increase your cup size.
    • Ex: 34 inch band and a 39 inch bust (5 inch difference)  will be a 34DD
    • Ex: 31 inch band measurement will round up to a 32 and a 35 inch bust (3 inch difference) will get you to size 32C.
